On January 2nd Damar Hamlin went into cardiac arrest on the field after tackling Bengals receiver Tee Higgins. Hamlin is a young and talented safety for the Buffalo Bills, who has quickly made a name for himself in the NFL. A native of Pittsburgh, Hamlin played college football at the University of Pittsburgh before being signed by the Bills as an undrafted free agent in 2020.

Since joining the team, Hamlin has proven to be a valuable member of the defense, using his speed and instincts to make key plays for the team. In his rookie season, he played in all 16 games and recorded 44 tackles, one interception, and one forced fumble. He also played a crucial role in the team’s playoff run, making key tackles and interceptions in several key games.

In addition to his on-field skills, Hamlin is known for his strong work ethic and dedication to improving his game. He is always one of the first players on the field and is constantly working to improve his technique and knowledge of the game. Hamlin was administered CPR on the field and then taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in critical condition.
