BSG Apollo is a rising UK rapper and songwriter from Guyana. As a teenager in Barbados, he developed a passion for music in secondary school. After high school, he moved to the UK, where he continued to explore music as a hobby. It was during this time that his talent was recognized by friends and colleagues, who encouraged him to pursue music professionally. BSG Apollo is now signed to BSG Music Ltd and works with a variety of producers.
He released his first single SUPA Hi in March 2019, followed by two further single releases in September titled Bad dog and Hugh Hefner, where he then concluded the year of 2020 with Back to Basics and Evolution, both of which were released in December.
Through his music he wants his listeners to understand his “life experiences, pain and struggles, hopefully my fans can relate and feel hopeful to achieve what they want in life”. During 2021 we saw hits from BSG Apollo such as Stripes and Mood which showcased his uniqueness. His latest single Meant To Be will be released on December 16th, we can’t wait to hear what he has in store for us!
Apollo’s biggest supporter is himself and his drive to succeed. One of his favorite things is the challenge of writing music and compiling lyrics and a melody. “I am creative and versatile which makes me an easy individual to work with. In addition to this I am a perfectionist and I appreciate the combined efforts of all individuals involved in finalizing a project” said Apollo.
